Rumi was a 13th-century Persian mystic whose poems speak of the soul’s longing to reunite with the Beloved Divine.
On Saturday, May 17, 2014, join us as we are mapping out the spiritual journey.
The intention for the workshop is to go through the seven levels of the journey of the soul using the poems that illustrate the challenges and breakthroughs at each step. There will be time for sharing and discussions. The intention is also to draw the parallels with the mystical path of Saint Theresa of Avila. The purpose of this workshop is to gain a deep understanding of the Sufi path, of the Christian mystical path, and most importantly of your own journey.
“The Divine Presence has always been with us, but we think it is absent. That thought is the monumental illusion of the human condition. The spiritual journey is designed to heal it." Father Thomas Keeting
