Annick Safken, Ph.D.
Until 1991, Dr
Safken was a licensed psychologist, and lecturer the University of
Montreal. She wrote a book on Suicide Prevention and was the Canadian
correspondent for the Journal des Psychologues. She then moved to the
United States, taught Transpersonal Theories, and Spiritual -Perspectives
at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, now Sofia University, until 2012.
From 2000 to 2011, she also taught Islam, Asian Religions, Judaism,
Christianity and Islam at Pima College in Tucson (AZ); she was a Graduate
Advisor for Prescott College in Humanities, Religious Studies Department;
she taught Islam and Sufism for the Interfaith Theological Seminary,
Tacheria Interfaith School of Spiritual Direcors, and gave lectures at
Hesychia School for Spiritual Direction. She served as co-director of
Tacheria for 4 years. She developed workshops on healing and writing,
Spiritual Guidance, deep process work,
Self-development, and Sufi prose and
poetry. She was ordained as an AIWP interfaith
minister and founded SWCHI in 2007

Gabrielle C. Dubé, M.A., Ph. D.

Gabrielle Is currently a lecturer in teacher training and in management at the Université du Québec à Rimouski in the province of Québec in Canada. For fourty years, she has been involved in education, first as a secundary school sciences teacher in Québec and in Africa, and as an adjunct in Colleges, Universities and Adult Education in Québec. She has a Masters degree in Éducation, another Masters inTranspersonal Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, California. She has always been a searcher of truth. She is currently involved in a doctorate research in éducation where she is revisiting her own travel in education in a autoethnographic way.

Steve Safken, B.A.
Steve grew up in New Mexico and studied geography, and ecology at the University of New Mexico. He worked for the National Park Service and worked on a Masters Degree in Environmental Studies. He moved to California and worked in Laser Electro-optic Technology. He studied and practiced Sufism and community building, In the 1997 he moved to New Mexico, then to Arizona.. He studied alternative building, designed and built the largest adobe dome in North America. From 2003 to 2010 he served on the Board of Directors of Watershed Management Group in Tucson, studied keyline theory and became active in the Adobe Association of the Southwest.
